Things We Do
As a small church, we will not initially have all of the programs and ministries that many look for in a church home. Yet, at the same time, it is the freshness and vitality of Abundant Harvest that forms a unique opportunity that you will not find elsewhere.
Learn how to share Jesus… by caring for the poor…
The ministry of Jesus Christ is help others. Each of the four Gospels ends with a commission from Christ to His church to carry the Gospel message to the ends of the earth.
(Matthew 28:18-20), "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
(John 20:21-23), "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained."
(Mark 16:15), "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
Each week, we are participating in volunteer community outreach throughout the Camden County.
It is our desire to reach out to the community through visitation. Likewise, we believe it is important to hold events and open houses that welcome visitors into our church. We see ourselves as ambassadors to the community.
The Lord wants His house full. He has set His table with a great feast and has thrown open the door. Our church is a banquet hall where a great spiritual feast is ready to be served, and are making a compelling case for people to come in.
Sharing our faith
The ministry of Jesus Christ is an outreach ministry.
Abundant Harvest is a a church of people caring for people. Through our involvement with the community of Kingsland, we are here to give a helping hand when families face difficult challenges. Since we’re vital part of the community, we have a stake in addressing the challenges.
As a church, we can make a difference, and we’re doing it through one family at a time.
